Tank Arena is a single-player game that runs entirely on your device. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking software of any kind. This policy describes the one thing it does send to us — anonymous gameplay statistics — and everything it keeps only on your device.
The application does not ask you for, and does not collect, any personally identifiable information. There is no name, no e-mail address, no phone number, no photograph and no account.
What is sent to our server. When a wave of play ends, the game sends a report about that wave to a server we operate. Each report contains:
EDD0F003-5605-4B92-9D24-B3CFC3B2503C). It is generated by the app itself, is not
derived from your device, is not the Apple advertising identifier, and is not linked to your
Apple ID or to any other application;iPhone15,2;We use these reports for one purpose: to see where the game is too hard or too easy, and to fix it. They tell us that players tend to lose on a particular wave, or that a particular mission is a wall. They do not tell us who you are.
What stays on your device and is never transmitted. Your settings, your run history and records, campaign progress and stars, salvage and hangar upgrades, the daily streak, and any run saved in progress are stored locally on the device only. The random identifier described above is also stored in the iOS Keychain so that it survives reinstalling the app. There is no cloud save and no synchronisation between devices.
Offline play. The game is fully playable with no network connection. If reports cannot be sent, they wait on the device and go out the next time the app is online. If the queue grows beyond roughly six hundred waves, the oldest are discarded.
Notifications. If you allow them, the app schedules reminders locally on your device. Their content is composed on the device and no notification data is sent anywhere.
The application contains no advertising network, no analytics software development kit, no social network integration and no third-party tracker. Nothing described in section 1 is sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or handed to any data broker or analytics vendor. The reports go to a server operated by the developer and nowhere else.
We may disclose information we hold only if we are legally required to do so, for example in response to a valid legal process or a lawful request by public authorities.
The application is distributed through Apple's App Store. Anything Apple collects about your download or your device is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, not by this one.
You can stop all collection described here by uninstalling the application, using the standard process available on your device. Uninstalling removes everything the game stored locally and ends the sending of any further reports.
The current version has no separate in-app switch for gameplay statistics. If you would like one, write to us — the address is in section 9 — and say so.
Gameplay reports are retained for as long as the application is actively developed, because their value is in comparing today's difficulty with last month's.
If you want the reports associated with your installation deleted, write to us at the address in section 9 and we will remove them. Please note the practical limit: the identifier is random and is not connected to any personal information, so we can only find your data if you tell us the identifier. If you cannot supply it, we have no way of distinguishing your reports from anyone else's — which is a direct consequence of the data being anonymous.
The application is not intended for children under the age of 4.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. As described in section 1, the application collects no personally identifiable information from anyone of any age: there is no account, no contact detail and no profile — only a random identifier and counters describing tank battles.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.
Reports are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. They are stored on a server we control, with access limited to the developer.
We would rather be precise than reassuring: no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. What we can say is what such a failure would expose — a random identifier, a device model, and counters describing tank battles. There is nothing there that identifies a person.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the effective date at the top will be revised. You are advised to review this page periodically.
By using the application you consent to the processing of information as set out in this policy, now and as amended by us.
